We celebrated Valentines Day this week at Ambleside. Our manager Clare, and some of the staff thought it would be a nice idea to send a surprise invite to June and Maureen to have a romantic lunch with their partners who are staying at Ambleside. The staff decorated the tables and room for the lovely couples. Lucy made prawn cocktail, new potatoes in a garlic and herb butter, chicken with a white wine mushroom sauce and a banoffee pie. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and said how nice it was for everyone to put all the effort in to make it so nice.
